Purchased 4 large cans for thanksgiving dinner and they were very unappetizing! Bought these beans many many times never had an experience like this. My dinner guest were very understanding! The bezns were stringy, like chewing on a piece of hay!

I have always bought Hanover green beans. The stringiest beans ever. Ruined for Thanksgiving. Extremely agitated and disappointed. Wtf

These were the stringiest beans we have ever bought

We always buy Hanover Green Beans, when we are out of home canned beans. They are usually the best you can buy in a can. The last two cans we bought were very, very stringy. You had to chew the beans up and then take the strings out of your mouth. This is poor quality control. These beans were picked past their prime.

Poor quality lately

Hanover green beans have always been good until here lately. The last few cans Ive bought has been terribly stringy! Not one good bean! Please check it out! Wont buy anymore!

Yes, the past three or four times we have cooked them they have been tough and very stringy. Which is the reason that I searched online and found these reviews.

In fact I couldn’t eat them either time.

Up until recently they have always been good. Not sure what’s going on but guess we will have to try another brand.

Many strings in the cut green beans. Nice flavor. Something has changed in your product...to stringy...

Terrible can of Hanover pot pie soup

We like the Hanover pot pie soup, but since they changed the size of the can and the label, it is horrible. There was one large noodle one piece of chicken and the rest all broth. What is going on! slpersing@***.com

Purchased the Petite Whole Green Beans, 12oz steam in bag. Cook time recommended was fine, but when opened there were LOTS of hard stems included! I can understand the occasional tiny stem still attached to one or 2 beans in a batch but these were whole long stems! What a surprise & disappointment!

User's recommendation: If you purchase, carefully empty bag & clean out unwanted stems!
